Community/Construction
We endeavour to ensure that all of our teams have real cultural emersion by getting off the “beaten track” and living and working with remote communities. This gives the team an opportunity to experience a unique culture and participate in a worthwhile cultural exchange. Projects are organised in conjunction with our local partners and may include:
- Re-building a local school
- Teaching placements
- Cultural exchanges
- Re-roofting an orphanage
Whichever project you work on, you can be sure that you will be adding to the long term infrastructure as well as giving you long lasting memories.

Trek
Part way through your project, the team will head up into the hills and climb either Mount Kenya or Mount Longonot. This will give the team a chance to see the local ecology whilst giving them the physical challenge of climbing one of Africa’s highest mountains.

Recovery Phase
At the end of the project, the team will travel to a local wildlife conservancy where they will have the change to spot the “Big 5” on safari and visit a chimpanzee reserve. The final night will be held at a partner school on the outskirts of Nairobi where the team will have a cultural exchange before heading home the next day.
